On Saturday, March 5, 2016, you are invited to a Sunshine Coast Boot Camp lead by the District 96 leaders. The workshops are designed to further the growth of experienced Toastmasters and lay a solid foundation for the newest members.
The day is broken up into two valuable workshops with an hour break for a pot luck lunch (12pm – 1pm).
9:30am: Meet and Mingle
10am – 12pm: Session 1 – Speech Evaluation
Speech evaluation is an important part of the Toastmaster experience. Learning how to effectively listen, evaluate and offer suggestions furthers the speaker’s growth, offers learning lessons for other Toastmasters and enhances your feedback skills. Learn how to take your evaluation skills to the next level in this workshop.
12pm – 1pm: Lunch Break
This is pot luck! Bring a dish or special treat to share!
1pm – 3pm: Session 2 – Crafting a Speech
How do you write a speech for maximum audience impact? How can a speech be designed? Does it always have to have intro, three key points and conclusion? This workshop was designed to help you explore ways to make your next speech more effective.
Every Toastmaster on the Coast and the public is invited (encouraged!) to attend. RVSP via email to Weegee at Weegoki@gmail.com if you are able to attend. Please also let her know if you are able to bring a dish or treat for the pot luck.
Hope to see you there!
